ABOUT THE TOURNAMENT

The Swing for Sickle Cell Classic brings together golf, community, and purpose in support of sickle cell anemia awareness and advocacy.  What began as a way to honor a legacy has grown into an annual gathering focused on giving back, bringing people together, and making an impact beyond the course.  

THE CLASSIC THROUGH THE YEARS

  • 1ST ANNUAL – 2025

    Where it all began.  The inaugural Swing for Sickle Cell Classic brought golfers, supporters, and the community together for a day centered on the game and a greater purpose–raising awareness and support for sickle cell anemia.

  • 2ND ANNUAL – 2026

    Year two built on that foundation bringing the community back together for another day of golf, connection, and purpose.  The 2nd Annual Classic raised $5,200 in support of DreamSickle Kids and continued our pursuit of making an impact beyond the course. 

IMPACT BEYOND THE COURSE

The classic is about more than what happens on the course.  Through the support of our golfers, sponsors, partners, and community, the 2nd Annual Swing for Sickle Cell Classic raised $5,200 for DreamSickle Kids–turning a day of golf into meaningful support for sickle cell advocacy.
